Green Alley Award 2024 for startups in Europe
Applications are open for the Green Alley Award 2024 for startups in Europe. In 2014, Landbell Group established Europe’s first startup prize for the Circular Economy with a specific goal: to invest and innovate for the future by promoting circular economy startups. Over the first decade, this commitment paved the way for their evolution into a thriving startup ecosystem centered around circular practices.
Green Alley Award is here to help make your business more visible and connect you with stakeholders in the industry and startup scene. Out of all applicants, a total of six startups will be invited to the Grand Finale in Berlin, in April 2024. Five of the six finalists are chosen by the committee, the sixth is nominated by a public voting from a preselected number of startup
The impact of the Green Alley Award has been truly significant, as demonstrated by the submission of more than 1,600 groundbreaking ideas, all competing to win €25,000 prize. Notably, within this diverse pool of applicants, it is important to highlight that in recent years 40% are female founders.

Application Requirements
- Only startups no older than 5 years that are located in Europe can apply for the Green Alley Award. They also accept startups that have not yet incorporated their business.
- Startups applying for the Green Alley Award have to fit into one of the following categories:
- Recycling
- Waste prevention
- Digital Solutions
- Make sure to meet their application guidelines and send in your tailor-made pitch deck, including information on e.g. your business idea, your customers & market or the team and assets.
